Maksud dan tujuan kegiatan tersebut adalah sebagai upaya memajukan kreativitas produk kriya dan kuliner nusantara, juga sebagai wadah untuk mendukung pemasaran produk kreatif anggota Jalasenastri seluruh Indonesia dan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) Daerah yang memiliki nilai jual sehingga dapat menambah pendapatan keluarga yang berdampak pada kesejahteraan keluarga TNI khususnya TNI AL dan pertumbuhan ekonomi secara nasional secara umum.
Sebagaimana kita ketahui bahwa Jala Fair secara resmi dibuka Ibu Wapres RI Ibu Wury Ma’ruf Amin tiga hari yang lalu, dengan tema “Gelar Karya dan Kreativitas Jalasenastri” inisiasi dari Pengurus Pusat Jalasenastri yang dipimpin Ketua Umum Jalasenastri Ny. Fera Muhammad Ali.
