Bandung, 06 Maret 2023,– Komandan Lanal Bandung Kolonel Laut (KH/W) Dr. Renny Setiowati, S.T., M.Sc., M.Tr.Hanla menghadiri upacara Serah Terima Jabatan Komandan Komando Pasukan Gerak Cepat (Dankopasgat) yang dipimpin langsung oleh Kepala Staf TNI Angkatan Udara Marskal TNI Fadjar Prasetyo, S.E., M.P.P., C.S.F.A., bertempat di Lapangan Pangkalan Udara Sulaiman, Kel. Sulaiman, Kec. Margahayu, Kab. Bandung, Prov. Jawa Barat, Senin (06/03).
Maksud dan tujuan kegiatan dalam rangka Upacara Serah Terima Jabatan Komandan Komando Pasukan Gerak Cepat dari Pejabat Lama Marsekal Muda TNI Taspin Hasan, S.A.P., M.Si. kepada Marsekal Muda Wahyu Hidayat Sujatmiko.
Dalam sambutanya Kasau mengatakan bahwa hari ini kita dapat melaksanakan Upacara Serah Terima Jabatan Komandan Komando Pasukan Gerak Cepat dalam keadaan sehat walafiat. Komando Pasukan Gerak Cepat adalah pasukan Elit TNI AU yang memiliki kemampuan khusus yang dapat menjadi Force Multiplayer dalam berbagai tugas operasi TNI Angkatan Udara. Seiring dinamika lingkungan strategis yang semakin kompleks dan juga dituntut untuk selalu beradaptasi dan meningkatkan kemampuan menghadapi tantangan peperangan modern mulai dari perang asimetris, perang Siber dan perang proxy hingga melaksanakan Network sentrik walfire, bersamaan itu kualitas prajurit Kopasgat harus terus ditingkatkan melalui berbagai bentuk pendidikan dan latihan termasuk peningkatan kemampuan akademis dan literasi guna mencapai keunggulan kompetitif dalam era persaingan global.
Berangkat dari hal tersebut maka seorang Komandan harus menjalankan peran yang sangat menentukan terutama dalam membina dan membangun kemampuan Pasukan Gerak Cepat guna memenuhi berbagai tantangan modern. Menjadi seorang komandan merupakan sebuah kehormatan bagi pasukan baret Jingga sebagai pemimpin pasukan elit Angkatan Udara. Kepemimpinan Komandan Kopasgat telah berhasil menunjukkan profesionalisme dalam mengembang berbagai tugas pengamanan seperti KTT G 20 di Bali hingga dukungan dalam berbagai misi kemanusiaan.
